Orquídeas em Prosa announces the Harsh EBM single “Lady Death”

The industrial music duo Orquídeas em Prosa, hailing from João Pessoa (Paraíba), has announced the release of their latest single, titled “Lady Death.” Drawing on Harsh EBM, Dark Electro, and Aggrotech styles, the track is officially set for release on September 18, 2026.

Driven by a fully original vision and a DIY (Do It Yourself) ethos, the project seeks to deconstruct the male-dominated landscape of the extreme electronic and industrial music scenes.

The Story Behind the Song

The track’s title and concept are a direct tribute to Lyudmila Pavlichenko, a Red Army sniper during World War II. Known in history by the codename “Lady Death,” the combatant was responsible for neutralizing over 300 soldiers of the Nazi army.

Sonically, the track was crafted to evoke an atmosphere of combat and urgency, utilizing danceable basslines, aggressive programming, and march-paced kick drums.

New Projects on the Horizon

Following the release of a three-track EP and a double single, the duo is gearing up for a new phase. “Lady Death” marks the start of a trilogy of new singles to be released in succession, paving the way for the band’s return to live performances.
