End of Pipe takes Brazilian punk to Punk Rock Holiday 2.6 in Slovenia.

End of Pipe, a melodic hardcore band from Florianópolis signed to Repetente Records, will represent Brazil this August at the renowned Punk Rock Holiday 2.6 in Tolmin, Slovenia. The quartet is scheduled to hit the Beach Stage on August 12, joining a strong Brazilian contingent that also includes Dead Fish (from Vitória) and Under Influence (from São Paulo).

The festival’s lineup highlights three distinct generations of Brazilian punk and hardcore. Dead Fish kicks off the Brazilian presence on August 11, followed by End of Pipe on August 12, and Under Influence on August 13. All three bands will perform on the Beach Stage, a primary focal point for the event’s international program.
Established in 2011 at the confluence of the Soča and Tolminka rivers in Sotočje, Punk Rock Holiday combines outdoor activities, camping, and explosive live shows. The main event runs from August 11 to 14, featuring top-tier international acts including Dropkick Murphys, Gogol Bordello, Less Than Jake, Lagwagon, Hot Water Music, Good Riddance, H2O, Satanic Surfers, Stick To Your Guns, The Suicide Machines, The Casualties, A Wilhelm Scream, Pulley, Talco, Terror, and War On Women.
Formed in 2006, End of Pipe reaches this festival milestone with nearly two decades of active history. The current lineup features Uirá Medeiros (guitar/vocals), Gabriel “Gabito” Jardim (guitar), Rafael Censi (bass), and Victor Berretta (drums).
Their background includes three US tours and a previous European run, having shared stages with renowned acts such as No Use For a Name, Less Than Jake, Face to Face, Adolescents, Dead Fish, and Down By Law—with whom they released a split in 2017. Their discography includes the 2020 full-length album Mass Hysteria, as well as EPs and singles heavily influenced by melodic punk and hardcore staples like Garage Fuzz, Hot Water Music, Samiam, Bad Religion, Pennywise, Shades Apart, and Farside.
The band’s latest work is the 4-track EP Silence Equals Death (2025), released via Repetente Records and produced by Phil Fargnoli (CPM 22). The EP features the tracks “Echoes of Silence”, “Wrong Decision”, “Silence Equals Death”, and “Land of Lies”. The title was inspired by graffiti the band encountered in an independent venue in Budapest, Hungary, during their 2022 European tour. Lyrically, the title track deals with unity, positioning, and standing firm through uncertain times.
